AFECoD partners with donors to provide educational opportunities for young men and women through scholarship programs. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating sustainable communities.
Our scholarship programs cover various levels of education, from primary school to university degrees, vocational training, and technical skills development. We ensure that children from disadvantaged backgrounds have equal opportunities to succeed.
AFECoD accepts goats, sheep, cows, and camels for sacrifice. Each animal must meet the Islamic criteria of suitability for sacrifice. We work with trusted butchers and veterinary officers to ensure proper slaughter and meat processing according to Islamic guidelines.
The meat is carefully divided into three portions: one-third for the family performing the sacrifice, one-third for relatives and friends, and one-third for the poor and needy. AFECoD manages the distribution of the third portion, ensuring it reaches deserving families in our community. We also coordinate with local leaders to identify beneficiaries.
Through Udhiya, hundreds of families receive meat and protein essential for their nutrition. This programme strengthens community bonds and demonstrates the Islamic values of compassion and giving. It serves as a reminder that true worship includes caring for the vulnerable members of society.
You can participate by donating an animal for sacrifice or contributing financially towards the cost of the sacrifice. Contact us before Eid al-Adha to arrange your contribution. All donations are transparently managed and documented. Join us in making this Eid a source of joy and sustenance for those in need.
